West Vancouver - Soften a Modern Rebuild
After renovating their 1940’s home to a modern style, the owners wanted the garden to soften the look of the house. We put together a landscape plan containing a variety of ornamental grasses, evergreen shrubs and beautiful specimen trees.
North Vancouver - Backyard Oasis
The owner of this house wanted the garden to highlight her roses and irises. New garden beds were built, the lawn and fence were replaced, and deciduous and evergreen trees were put in for focal points and privacy.
West Vancouver - Improve Curb Appeal
This lovely house needed a more appealing and interesting front garden. Using a West Coast garden theme, new contoured garden beds were built and mature shrubs were removed to open up space. Texture was added to the garden by a variety of shade loving plants, inter-mixed with some colourful perennials.
North Vancouver - Must Sell
The owners of this house were in need of selling their home quickly. The front entrance was extremely unappealing and dull and certainly was not going to entice new buyers. We replaced the stones and dead plants with new soil, and plants with lots of colour and texture. Evidently this was successful as the house sold within a day of being on the market, and WELL over asking price.
North Vancouver - Backgarden slope
Many homes on the North Shore have a sloped back garden. Our plan was to tier the slope using existing stones, and plant a variety of sun-loving, drought resistant plants. Many are native to BC. We also installed a paver pathway and created several planting beds.
North Vancouver - More Interest
The garden originally installed for this modern home consisted of bamboo, euphorbia and mass plantings of three types of ornamental grasses. The owner wanted a more interesting and textured look that could be enjoyed year round. We removed most of the original plants and added perennials for colour, and a variety of evergreens and boulders. Definitely improved its curb appeal!
